Words for place necklace - blue

To create this neckpiece I engraved words about my island home of Tasmania, into fragments of wood which were then constructed into a large neckpiece. The parts are held together with tiny silver rivets, enabling movement as it is worn. It was exhibited as part of This Place at Handmark Gallery in 2024.
