This series of brooches was exhibited at Gilded Encounters at Hadley's Hotel in Hobart (Nov 2018-Feb 2019). The exhibition explored the stories of this historic hotel and its famous visitors. Each brooch celebrates a famous guest. The textures conjure up layers of old peeling wallpaper, text can be deciphered through the keyholes.
