This sculpture made in 2024 for my Master of Fine Arts (Research) evokes abandoned places, things left behind, and histories that follow us even when we cast off the associated objects of our past. Using cast-off silverware, hand-made barbed wire, and patina I filled a room with objects which cast shadows. The objects are still, and silent but there is the feel of movement here, they swing gently on their barbed wire threads.
