Liminal brooches

This set of brooches are made from fine silver, copper, and brass. They have been hand-textured. Each features a small fragment of seaweed. Life on an island, off an island focuses attention on this space where the sea meets the land. So much arrives on its shoreline. 

Liminal was a finalist in the Tasmanian Women's Art Prize, 2020.
