In this installation work I collected vintage silver-plated objects, fragmented them and then coated them in patina before inserting hand-made barbed wire threads into the objects. Their surfaces are blackened, as if they have been burnt. I use domestic objects to connect settler Australians to their colonial past. Image by Jessica King.
