The Landlady in Lace - memories and history in jewellery

This neckpiece was made as a response to a piece of jewellery which is in the collection of the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery (TMAG)  - part of the Baldwin bequest.

I was lucky enough to work with three other jewellers to put together a show called 'Inscription and Place' at the Museum and Art Gallery in 2017.

The materials in the neckpiece include: lace, Japanese lacquer, brass, paper, shellac and sterling silver.
