Storm ball pendant - janine combes contemporary jeweller

This necklace was inspired by small golden algae which wash up on the coastline after 'heavy weather'. They have a scientific name of course but I have called them 'storm balls'.

The pendant is made from silk, Japanese lacquer, pearl and sterling silver. It was exhibited in 2017 at Handmark Tasmania and is now in a private collection.
