Conclude cuff - historical inspiration for contemporary jewellery

This cuff is part of a body of work made for the show 'Inscription and Place' held at the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery in 2017 (July to October). The work speaks to the life of a woman who was part of a leading colonial family of Hobart from the late 1800's to the mid 1900's.

The cuff is made of cotton fabric printed with text about Hilda Maning's life, shellac, brass and silver.
