Caravan
This installation of brooches was created for an exhibition called Caravan which was held in 2021 at Tacit Art In Melbourne. The work was made during COVID 19 lockdown. It's about a wistful longing to tow my teardrop caravan across the Nullabor Plain, to ride a camel out into the Thar Desert on the border of India and Pakistan.
Materials: anodised aluminium, sterling silver, stainless steel.
