In the eyes of society
For the Hidden Histories exhibition at Narryna Museum in 2020 I explored the ideas of ruin and rebellion in relation to women who lived in the colonial house. It speaks to the violent undercurrent of the colony and the idea that women were always watched and judged. Unspoken words are hidden, needles are pushed through objects with force.
